Travel back to the golden age of motoring and celebrate the 84th Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin featuring a spectacular parade of 50 rarely seen vintage cars. The parade will leave Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok on Friday 16th December at 8am and embark on a 225km journey to the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin. En route there will be stops in Phetchaburi for sightseeing and lunch, plus a visit to the Hua Hin Floating Market.
The day ends with a welcome dinner at Hua Hin Market Village with a long buffet of 50 exquisite dishes cooked by chefs from the 5-star member hotels of the Hua Hin Hoteliers Club. Live entertainment will compliment the evening’s dining. The dinner is also open to the public at 284 baht net per person. Those wishing to ride a rare vintage car around Hua Hin will also have a chance to do so during the “Vintage Car Charity Rides” on 17th December from 5pm. The fee is 250 baht per trip and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Chaipattana Foundation.
The parade will then return to the resort for a gala dinner for charity, with a gourmet buffet, entertainment, charity auctions, lucky draws with chances to win room packages to stay at various Centara Hotels & Resorts, and a period costume competition. Tickets for the gala dinner cost 2,200 baht net per person. Call 02-769-1234 ext 6581, 6565, 6597 or email salesoffice@chr.co.th.
