If you are on holiday in Bangkok and want to upload some holiday photos or talk to family and friends on video chat, then you might want to consider checking out Terminal 2. This is Bangkok’s latest themed shopping mall which can be accessed directly from BTS Asok. Apart from having some air-conditioned comfort after a busy day of sightseeing, you can also make use of their free WiFi. All you have to do is show the information desk on the ground floor a copy of your passport. You are then given a username and password that lasts a generous one year. You will be automatically logged out every two hours, but the speeds that I got were impressive. I managed to clock 6.98 Mbps for downloads and 3.98 Mbps for uploads. This will of course vary. It seemed to work throughout the shopping mall and also on the platform of the nearby skytrain station.
What about you? Where else in Bangkok have you got fast free WiFi?

Thanks very much for your good information about the free net and around your websites; as a farang living for decades in Asia I appreciate much your information and your valuable work
