On 29th, 30th June and 2nd July 2012, there will be an Air Show at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. This marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal Thai Air Force. The Air Show on Friday and Saturday takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Sunday there won’t be an air show but you can look at the aircraft. On Monday there will be an Air Show in the morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will arrive to watch the show “When Love is in the Air” which takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
29-30 June 2012: Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
10:05-10:15 a.m. Performance of a UH-60 BLACK HAWK helicopter
10:20-10:40 a.m. Demonstration of the BELL-212 helicopter of the National Police Agency
10:45-10:55 a.m. Solo show of aerobatics aircraft F-16 C of Singapore Air Force
11:10-11:40 a.m. Show by a group of aerobatics JUPITER (KT-1) of the Indonesian Air Force
11:50 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. Show by a group flying seven CESSNA 208 CARAVAN aircraft
The Air Show takes place at Cargo 3 Terminal at Don Mueang Airport. I’ve seen two different reports about parking. One said go to Don Muang Airport and follow the signs. The other side go to the Air Force Museum or Air Force Stadium where there will be free shuttle buses. Last time I went I parked at Don Muang and got on a free shuttle bus.
