US Independence Day Picnic in Bangkok on Saturday

To celebrate US Independence Day, the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) is holding a picnic this Saturday in the grounds of KIS International School on Pracha Uthit Road. There will be a full barbecue with real American hot dogs, burgers and ribs, along with apple pie and ice cream and an American beer selection, with help from Anantara Bangkok Riverside, Dairy Queen, Roadhouse Barbecue, Sunrise Tacos and others. For those who like American rock, blues and folk, there will be musical entertainment by Bangkok Soul Jets, Lovebone, Mekong Dr Blues and the Groove Junkies, Peter Driscoll & The Cruisers, Soi Dogs Blues Band, and Wildside.

Tickets at the door cost 300 baht (200 baht if purchased in advance at the AMCHAM office) and free for children under 12 years. The picnic runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free shuttle vans available from MRT Huai Khwang Station, Exit 1.

    Wanted to find out if the advertised year is right as well as the venue..?

      Yes, this is last year which was 2012.
