Bangkok is due to get a new landmark and tourist attraction at the end of this year with the “Dinner in the Sky” experience. Twenty-two diners will be strapped into their seats around a dining table and then a crane will hoist them up 50 meters for some spectacular views. There are expected to be two dining sessions per evening, each one lasting about an hour. The estimated cost per diner is 4,900 Baht.
Dinner in the Sky is the first of its kind in Thailand, and the second in ASEAN. They already launched in Malaysia to great success. Dining in the Sky will open in the EM District in Bangkok in December before moving to other tourist locations around Thailand.
