The National Tourism Policy Committee has approved the designation of “Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018” starting from 1st November 2017 to 1st January 2019. The promotion aims to further strengthen the Thai tourism industry by making it more sustainable, focus on quality tourism, create higher economic value, and distribute tourism income to the regional areas of Thailand. A new tourism year, also means a new logo. The following is the explanation for the new tourism logo which you will be seeing over the coming months.
The infinity shape of the logo: To depict that tourists will feel the specialty of travelling in Thailand and discovering Thainess, which will create happiness and a remarkable memory for infinity throughout the Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018.

Elephant (Land-based Tourism): To showcase the national symbol and to illustrate the friendly smiles of the hosts to warmly welcome visitors.
