The International Fireworks Competition will take place on Pattaya Beach from 16-17 December and will feature a 3km stretch of fireworks in honour of the 84th Birthday of His Majesty the King. According to newspaper reports, Pattaya will soon be getting its first purpose built dolphin world. Called Pattaya Dolphin World & Resort, it is being built in Huay Yai district to the south of Pattaya City (see map below).
