The TAT office in Phetchaburi Province has announced that the “13th Gin Hoi Doo Nok Tok Meuk Festival” (เทศกาลกินหอย ดูนก ตกหมึก) will take place along the beachfront in Cha-am from 24th September to 2nd October 2011. At this time of year, squid comes the closest to the shoreline and migratory birds from Northern Europe arrive in the area.
